Claims process with Shosholoza Funeral is simple and hassle-free.

We understand that losing a loved one is a difficult time, and we strive to make the claims process as smooth and straightforward as possible. Upon receiving all required documentation, your valid funeral benefit will be paid out within 48 hours. ​ In some cases, additional information may be needed. If so, we will promptly inform you of any further documents required. To initiate your claim, please ensure you have your policy number, personal details (full name, ID number, contact information), the deceased’s details, and all relevant documents readily available, then choose one of the following options: ​

Once your claim is submitted and all documents are received, you will receive an SMS with an acknowledgment and a tracking number.
